Our intensive Tax Training Short Course is specifically intended for people seeking employment with ITP as tax preparers for the 2008 tax season.

Accounting Graduates & Tax Agents
If you have just completed your Accounting degree or hold any qualifications in Taxation, ie Tax Agent, please include a copy of your resume or Tax Agents Certificate with enrolment.

Who should Enrol?
No previous experience is necessary. If you are good with numbers we can train you. There are no restrictions as we are an equal opportunity employer. Expert tax consultants who work in taxation all year round supervise our course. You will receive reference materials and course notes. You will acquire a practical knowledge of the preparation of tax returns, which may enable you to work full or part time as a consultant tax preparer.

Contact your local Job Training Centre or Government agency for details about eligibility for assistance for training courses. (Not Austudy approved).

Dates
Our 2008 Tax Training Short Course commences on Monday 2 June and runs until Friday 13 June. Full time attendance is required commencing at 9am each day.

When to Enrol
Apply immediately. Courses fill rapidly, so fill out the registration coupon and send it to us immediately for your enrolment.

Cost - $250
Includes Tax Training manual and computer training.

Statement of Achievement
After obtaining a required level of competency in the open-book examination, you will receive a Statement of Achievement.

Objectives
By the end of the course, participants will be able to complete an individual tax return and perform duties of a Tax Consultant.

Registration and Fees
1. Numbers are limited. All bookings received are considered firm bookings.
2. To secure position and availability of course materials fees should be paid immediately. Please send payment with signed enrolment form or letter. Materials will only be issued on receipt of full payment.
3. All cheques are to be made payable to "ITP QLD Tax Training School".
4. No refunds are available.
5. ITP reserves the right to reject any enrolments.
