Tax Training Courses

By acknowledging that you have read and accepted the terms and conditions prior to registration you are agreeing to the following:

Terms and Conditions are different for Self-paced and teacher courses, please refer to the course type you have selected.

Fees and inclusions:

The fee for In-Class and Virtual courses is $495.00 the fee for the Self-Paced course is $395.00.

The above costs include the following:

  • Access to our tax Training School portal – please note Self-Paced Course will NOT obtain access until full course fees are paid.
  • Teacher support
  • The total fee includes a Non-refundable deposit of $100.00. – refer to our refund policy for more information.
  • WI-FI whilst in attendance or weekly workshops – In-Class course only

Exclusions:

  • IT Support is not included in the above fees, it is the student’s responsibility to ensure that they have read our full terms and conditions and their device is compatible with our software.

Compatible devices

All devices MUST be compatible with Windows. The tax software that we provide as part of the course is NOT compatible with APPLE run devices.

Transferring between course options:

A student can only be transferred into another course type if the following applies:

  • Self-Paced to In class/Virtual – transfer can only be done prior to commencement of the course, the student MUST pay the difference in fees before transfer.
  • In-Class/ Virtual – Transfer will be done at the sole discretion of ITP.

In-Class and Virtual Course Students

Students who register for either In-Class or Virtual courses, agree that they will be ATTENDING two (2) weekly in class sessions. (Virtual will be held via Teams Meeting).

Students who fail to attend weekly sessions will be withdrawn from the course after two (2) consecutive weeks if no attempt to contact either your teacher or our training coordinator is made.

If a student has withdrawn from the course, all course materials and access to our training course will be ceased regardless of if fees are paid in full or not.

Payment options - In-Class and Virtual course

ITP accepts payment via the following:

  • Credit card
  • Cash in office
  • Payment plan (In-Class and Virtual course only)

Payment plan - In-Class and Virtual course

ITP offer students who participate in our In-Class and Virtual courses the option to pay off the fee for the Tax Training course.

The student MUST pay a Non-refundable deposit of $100.00 upfront and then make regular, weekly/fortnightly payments thereafter.

The full course fee must be paid in full prior to sitting the Mid-term exam. Please note, students who have not paid the full fee by Mid-term will be excluded from being able to submit their Mid-term exam and the tax training software will be revoked.

Refund policy – In-Class and Virtual course

The fee of $495.00 includes a non-refundable deposit of $100.00. therefore, any refund amounts are excluding the non-refundable $100.00 deposit.

Refunds shall only be granted in the below instances:

All cancelations must be in writing, the date and time of the notice will be used when applying for a refund.

  • Students will be withdrawn from the tax training course once notice has been provided.
  • Students cannot transfer their registration to another person.

If ITP cancels a course of the student’s preference and another course cannot be provided ITP agrees to refund the full fee, including the non-refundable deposit.

Promotions or offers

ITP from time to time run promotional offers for our Tax Training course during the application process. Promotional offers are solely at the discretion of ITP and can be revoked at any time.

Additional Terms and Conditions apply to students who apply as part of any promotional offers:

  • The full promotional fee must be paid up front – Payment plans are not available
  • Absolutely no transfers to another class will be available
  • Current enrolled/registered students are not eligible for the promotional price
  • If a student withdraws from the class within 7 days of commencement date a refund will be allowed, excluding the $100.00 deposit.

Employment opportunities – In-Class and Virtual course

Each year ITP recruit students from our Tax Training course to work on desk as a tax Consultant, positions are subject to availability however with over 70 locations we have many positions on offer. Students must pass with at least 85% or higher to be eligible for an interview.

In addition to successfully completing the course, students who are seeking employment must have:

  • Good availability throughout July – October
  • Excellent people skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to attend physical offices/mall locations

Please bear in mind, acceptance into the course is not deemed an offer of employment.

Self-Paced Course Students

Students who enrol into our Self-Paced course, are agreeing to complete the course with limited support and are NOT seeking employment with ITP. Full payment of course fees is applicable prior to gaining access to the online training program.

Payment options – Self-Paced Course

ITP accepts the following payment options:

  • Credit card
  • Cash in office

Please note, payment plans are NOT offered to Self-Paced course students.

Refund Policy – Self-Paced Course

The fee of $395.00 includes a non-refundable deposit of $100.00. therefore, any refund amounts are excluding the non-refundable $100.00 deposit.

Refund of fees will only be granted if the below applies:

Employment opportunities are not available for students who complete the Self-Paced course.
