What is the Tax Training Course?
Our Tax Training Course gives you an in-depth understanding of all the skills you'll need to work in tax. The training curriculum covers more tax topics than any other. It also prepares you for a new career through 19 modules with real-life case studies, designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of tax.
Who is it for?
We give everyone a fair go. All you’ll need is the right attitude and good English oral and written skills, as well as a head for figures. No tax experience is necessary.
Can students apply?
Yes, the Tax Training Course is also suitable for students. If you’re a third or fourth year student or a recent graduate, this may work towards your degree or give you some extra theoretical and practical experience.
How long is it and when does it start?
The 17-week course starts on Monday, February 10th 2020.

The course costs $495, which is tax deductible and requires some flexible investment of your time.
Can I do it online?
Yes, the 2020 Tax Training Course materials and assessments are now delivered online - which means you can now study in your own time and around your other commitments. We recommend allowing around 20 hours per week to complete the course work. Please note that if you are seeking employment with ITP Qld, fortnightly in-office sessions are required at an office of your choosing.
Can I work for ITP?
Our training will get you ready to take your tax preparation skills to the workforce. To make sure you’ve got the best possible skills, you will need to attend fortnightly in-store training sessions. After finishing our course you may have the opportunity to work on the frontline at one of our many ITP Qld office & kiosk locations.
